Wholley Goodings LLP are made up of over 20 members of staff, from solicitors to administrative staff. Below are a selection of some of the key members of our team.
Guy Goodings Guy Goodings
Educated at Bede Grammar School, Sunderland and taking his law degree at what is now the University of Northumbria. He qualified as a solicitor at the start of 1983.

Since then he has been involved in general practice, mainly involved in Family, Criminal law work and Personal Injury litigation.

He is married with three children and his wife is also a solicitor, presently working as the Honorary Secretary of the Newcastle Upon Tyne Incorporated Law Society.

Guy is past chairman of the Local Duty Solicitor Committee and has organised courses on Duty Solicitor work.

He is a member of the Solicitors Family Law Association, Law Society Child Care Panel and the Criminal Law Association.

He has also provided courses for the custody sergeants on behalf of Northumbria Police.
Richard Wholley Richard Wholley

Law graduate of Nottingham University. Admitted 1980.

Now specialises in commercial work and civil litigation. He is involved with large value land transactions and retains a number of company clients.

Having practised in South Northumberland for over eighteen years he has vast local knowledge and connections.

He is married to a chartered accountant and they have three children.

He is a veteran of sixteen Great North Runs (completed!) and plays tennis and squash on a regular basis.
